Blackback Pub is located in the heart of downtown Waterbury, Vermont, on the corner of Main and Stowe street. Blackback is a nickname for Brook Trout, the only native stream dwelling trout to New England.

In addition, I am a Vermont fly fishing guide and I sell top quality flies for local streams as well as new Hardy rods and reels and classic bamboo fly rods.  Our Fly box is geared towards local fishermen who chase trout on the Winooski, Little, Lamoille, White and Clyde rivers.  We also carry the flies preferred by hungry, wild “Blackback” brook trout that live in the cold mountain brooks that feed those rivers.
